The artwork, in Tredegar, commemorates the centenary of Moose in Britain and the legacy of Tredegar-born philanthropist James J Davies. 1 Moose Lodge, it features the iconic moose emblem, elements of the townscape, and a portrait of Davies, a key figure in the organisation’s history. He reorganised Moose International in 1906 and later established the first British Moose lodge in Tredegar in 1926.
