So they have officially lodged a complaint to West Berkshire Council.
Bradfield ward Conservative district council member Ross Mackinnon was dobbed in by Sulhamstead and Ufton Nervet parish councils after it emerged Mr Mackinnon hadn’t been present for two years.
“Ufton Nervet PC had also experienced similar problems and so a communal complaint would be submitted to WBC.”
Mr Mackinnon said where a WBC member finds that a WBC council, executive, planning, licencing, governance or any other committee meeting clashes with a local parish council meeting, the WBC commitment will take priority.
“Speaking personally, it has been a highlight of my time as WBC member to work with committed parish councillors in Bradfield, Englefield, Sulhamstead and Ufton Nervet who are all passionate about their communities and give up hours of their free time to contribute to the parish council.
