COVENTRY City have agreed a club-record £26million deal to sign Ghana midfielder Caleb Yirenkyi from Danish side Nordsjaelland. According to Sky Sports News, Nordsjaelland have given Yirenkyi permission to travel to Coventry to finalise the transfer. Several clubs in the Premier League and across Europe have shown an interest in Yirenkyi who operates as a central midfielder, defensive midfielder and centre-back. He has scored four goals in 56 appearances for Nordsjaelland since joining the Danish side from the Right to Dream academy in Ghana in 2024. He has scored two goals in 15 caps for Ghana.
