Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks slugger, Jose Sermo, has been named the American Association of Professional Baseball’s Rawlings Batter of the Month for July. Sermo posted a .421 batting average with 11 home runs and 32 RBI throughout the month. Sermo currently trails Sioux Falls’ Jabari Henry by five home runs for the most hit in the league’s history. Sermo is currently chasing team history as he sits at 24 homers on the year. Sermo is the first RedHawks batter to earn the honor since Peter Maris did so in August 2022.
