Grassroots sports clubs in Dorset encouraged to apply for funding from Aldi

Aldi has brought its support for local sport together under one Aldi Sports Fund programme, offering financial support to clubs in Dorset and beyond to help with costs such as equipment, coaching, kits, facility hire, and training programmes.
The scheme builds on Aldi’s existing Scottish Sports Fund, which has backed hundreds of clubs over the past decade.
Julie Ashfield, chief commercial officer at Aldi, said: "We know how much local sports clubs mean to the communities they serve.
Grassroots sports clubs across Dorset are being urged to apply for funding from Aldi, as the supermarket brings its support for local sport together under one Aldi Sports Fund programme.
As the official supermarket partner of Team GB and ParalympicsGB, Aldi already supports athletes with monthly food vouchers.
