STARS Dorset is a finalist in the Charity of the Year (£1m–£10m income) category at the Charity Times Awards, which celebrates organisations demonstrating exceptional impact, innovation and resilience. Its CEO, Helen Stevens, is also shortlisted for Charity Leader of the Year. STARS Dorset provides free specialist support to survivors of sexual violence and domestic abuse, including counselling, Independent Sexual Violence Adviser (ISVA) services, group work, and support for children and young people.
