Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance’s (DSAA) Big Keepy Uppy Challenge saw schools, families, sports teams, and businesses take part in a fun and active way to raise money, generating £3,406.25 to support the charity’s critical work.
Participants were challenged to collectively complete 3,000 keepy uppies, with the number reflecting the 2,738 missions flown by the service last year.
One of the standout supporters was Dorset-based building company Modulek, whose team raised £670 and was named the winner of a signed AFC Bournemouth football donated by the club.
"The team was super pleased to support the very important work of Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance."
Rosie Cornelius-Light, fundraising officer at Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance, said: "A massive thank you to everyone who took part in our first ever Big Keepy Uppy Challenge.
