They’ll be attempting to pull a 35,000kg Boeing 737 over 50 metres as part of the Dorset Plane Pull, a charity event raising money for mental health charity Dorset Mind on August 31. Emma Murgatroyd, community and events fundraising manager at Dorset Mind, said: "We're thrilled to have three fantastic teams taking on this year's Plane Pull. Taking place on August 31 at Bournemouth Airport, the Dorset Plane Pull will see teams of up to 20 people competing to pull the aircraft in the fastest time, all while raising vital funds for local mental health support at Dorset Mind. Each team comprises up to 20 people, and together, the teams are aiming to raise £3,000 to support Dorset Mind’s mental health services.
