Pakistan and the United States have made substantial progress in talks on a proposed reciprocal trade framework, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to finalising the agreement as soon as possible.
The two sides reviewed the ongoing negotiations aimed at expanding bilateral trade and strengthening economic cooperation.
Both sides agreed that negotiations had advanced considerably and reiterated their shared determination to conclude the framework at the earliest opportunity.
He reaffirmed Washington’s commitment to advancing the trade discussions and expressed confidence that the remaining issues could be resolved through continued technical consultations.
Both sides agreed to maintain close coordination, accelerate technical-level discussions and continue regular engagement to finalise the remaining aspects of the reciprocal trade framework.
