BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) — Hundreds of people gathered in Milton Tuesday for the town’s National Night Out event, celebrating partnerships between law enforcement and the community. Several area police agencies attended, including Vermont State Police and the Drug Enforcement Administration. National Night Out is observed nationally on the first Tuesday in August. The event is designed to enhance partnerships between police departments and the communities they serve.
