CME August live cattle futures settled up 0.850 cent on Tuesday at 231.950 cents per pound.
Most-active October futures ended 1.175 cents higher at 227.900 cents a pound.
CME August feeder cattle futures rose 3.375 cents to 351.200 cents per pound, while most back-month contracts also ended the session higher.
CME August lean hog futures settled up 0.325 cent at 97.850 cents per pound.
