STUDLEY Lioness Hannah Hampton has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Sports Science by the University of Wolverhampton in recognition of her exceptional achievements in football and her inspirational impact on young people across the region and beyond. Hannah has established herself as one of the leading goalkeepers in world football, representing both Chelsea Women and the England national team. Hannah said: “As a proud Midlander I feel lucky to have spent my formative years at home in Birmingham and the surrounding counties. Most recently, Hannah was instrumental in England’s UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 triumph. Her success serves as a powerful example to aspiring athletes and young people facing their own barriers and setbacks.
