No one on the bus was injured but Ms Marks, from Littleport, was pronounced dead at the scene. Ms Marks was ejected from the vehicle and emergency services were dispatched. The passenger, a man in his 40s, recalled talking to Ms Marks in the vehicle before hearing a loud bang. A full invasive post-mortem was carried out and the inquest heard that Ms Marks suffered multiple external injuries including bruising and abrasion. She said that while both were likely to have contributed to the circumstances of the crash, Ms Marks' death was the result of a road traffic collision.
