A new report from the Angus Glens Moorland Group and Scottish Land & Estates has examined, for the first time, the wider economic, environmental and community benefits of moorland management across the estates during 2025.
Director of Moorland & Strategic Projects at Scottish Land & Estates, Ross Ewing said the report demonstrated the contribution estates make to rural communities.
“Upland estates in the Angus Glens are creating jobs, providing homes for rural workers, supporting local businesses and enhancing the natural environment,” he said.
