Jim Goodwin knows the speculation around Will Ferry is not going away, and Dundee United already have plans in place in case Celtic or another interested club meets their price. Ferry has been watched by Celtic as the club consider their options at left-back, although there has been no suggestion of an offer landing at Tannadice. United want to keep Ferry, but they are a selling club and Goodwin has admitted that himself. A reported £1.7m bid from Sigma Olomouc was accepted earlier in the window before Ferry rejected the move. Anderlecht have reportedly held talks over a move, while Schalke watched Ferry during United’s draw with Rangers.
