ESPN has selected “High Noon,” a new collaboration between Shaboozey and Gunna, as the official anthem for its 2026-27 college football coverage, continuing the network’s long-running tradition of pairing each season with a signature song.
ESPN has used an annual anthem for more than a decade to help launch its college football campaign, with each selection becoming a recurring soundtrack across game broadcasts, commercials and studio programming throughout the fall.
The announcement marks the latest high-profile partnership between ESPN and a recording artist as the network blends music with its college football branding.
The collaboration follows last year’s anthem, mgk’s “dont wait run fast,” and extends a lineup of previous ESPN anthem artists that has included Jelly Roll, Post Malone, Fall Out Boy, Imagine Dragons, Thirty Seconds to Mars, X Ambassadors, Marshmello and Juice WRLD, among others.
“High Noon” is expected to become a familiar part of ESPN’s broadcasts as the network prepares for another season of extensive coverage featuring marquee matchups, conference showdowns and the College Football Playoff.
