Other brands included in the acquisition were Dixie Southern Vodka, Elvis Whiskey, and Kentucky whiskey EG Booz. “Grain & Barrel built something real here with the Chicken Cock Whiskey brand: exceptional quality, deep history, and a relatable story,” said Anthony Moniello, Next Century Spirits’ CEO. The Bardstown opening enabled Chicken Cock to begin distilling its liquid on site, while Bardstown Bourbon Company remained its third-party partner. He said: “We’ve spent the last decade reviving the Chicken Cock brand and want to see it reach its full potential.
