Action at the Area 7 district tournament came to an end in McCook on Tuesday with a matchup between the Spartan’s Juniors and McCook. The Spartans will continue their season with a trip to Wayne for the Class B state tournament starting on Sunday. Leading the offense with 2 hits each were: Teagen O’Gorman, Casyn Rodriguez, and Jaxon Poss. Alliance failed to score in the home half and the contest went to the third with the Juniors up 2 to 0. After an error by McCook, Rodriguez connected as the lead went to 7 to 0.
