Game 2 for the Alliance Juniors at the state tournament had the Spartans facing off against Holdrege. Phelps Medical went down silently in the home half and the affair went to second with the Peltz Co up by 3. A passed ball along with a couple of miscues by Phelps Medical ended the rally with the Spartans ahead 8 to 0. An error by Holdrege, a hit by Salcido, and a passed ball resulted in 2 more tallies for the Spartans.
