Public Prosecution ordered the detention of a driver pending investigation after a traffic accident in Al Saya claimed the life of a bus passenger and injured eight others. The Deputy Head of the Traffic Prosecution said the Public Prosecution received a report from the General Directorate of Traffic regarding the collision, which resulted in one fatality and eight people sustaining varying injuries. The impact caused the bus to veer off course and collide with the road’s metal and concrete barriers, resulting in one passenger’s death and injuries to eight others. The Public Prosecution immediately launched an investigation, questioned the suspect, and confronted him with the evidence. It ordered his detention pending further inquiries and authorized the release of the deceased’s body to the family for burial.
