Housing provider rolls out retrofit programmeA housing provider has launched a programme of energy efficiency improvements that will benefit more than 500 homes across North Yorkshire and the Tees Valley. Beyond Housing has appointed Houghton-le-Spring-based 0800 Repair to deliver retrofit assessments and upgrades designed to improve energy efficiency, reduce household bills and make homes more comfortable for residents. Jamie Whitaker, asset sustainability manager at Beyond Housing, said: “Beyond Housing is delighted to be partnering with 0800 Repair on our largest energy efficiency improvement programme to date, supporting the forthcoming Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards by 2030. “We look forward to working closely with 0800 Repair to deliver meaningful and lasting benefits for our customers and communities.” 0800 Repair has recently secured a number of housing contracts, including projects with Home Group, North Star Housing Group, Northumberland County Council and Gateshead Borough Council.
