Hyderabad: Launch Girls, a non-profit organisation focused on empowering young women through career readiness and entrepreneurship education, has launched a three-year Career Readiness Programme for women students across 43 government degree colleges in Telangana. The initiative aims to equip young women with essential workplace and entrepreneurial skills, helping them transition successfully from higher education to meaningful employment or entrepreneurship. The launch event was attended by Launch Girls Co-founder and CEO Neha Sahu, trainers, programme team members and chief guests. The programme is designed to strengthen students' work-readiness skills, leadership abilities, confidence and decision-making capacity while providing them with mentorship and support networks. Launch Girls stated that its curriculum is based on research from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the World Bank and focuses on building practical skills required for economic participation.
