Hyderabad: City police have busted a serial phone-snatching gang that allegedly targeted pedestrians across the city in a 10-day spree. The police arrested three accused and recovered 17 stolen mobile phones, including 12 whose owners are yet to be traced. Police also seized the scooter used in the offences. Police said the receiver was found in possession of 12 mobile phones whose ownership is yet to be established. Further investigation is underway to identify additional victims and return the recovered phones to their owners.
