The New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center is turning Thursday evenings into a celebration of local music with the return of Porchside Performances, a free outdoor concert series showcasing some of the city’s most beloved artists throughout August. Held every Thursday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on the Heritage Porch outside Hall D, the series offers an after-work gathering spot overlooking Heritage Park between Gaiennie and John Churchill Chase streets in the Warehouse District. Guests are encouraged to bring a lawn chair and enjoy an evening of live music in a relaxed outdoor setting. A cash bar will be available during each performance, and admission is free and open to the public. For more information, visit the Convention Center’s website.
