CROOKSTON — On Wednesday, Aug. 5, the family of a Fosston, Minnesota, man will rally outside the Polk County Courthouse. On June 8, TeeJay Alveraz, 31, was shot and killed inside an apartment complex in Fosston. ADVERTISEMENTThe man accused of shooting and killing him was arrested, but released hours later. At the time, the county prosecutor said he wanted to review all the evidence in the case before moving forward. Alvarez' family said waiting for answers has been difficult.
