FARGO — A nonprofit is raising money to support renovations at a south Fargo library. The Friends of the Fargo Public Library announced the start of a $100,000 capital campaign for the Carlson Library on 32nd Avenue South. ADVERTISEMENTTo kickstart the campaign, Scheels donated $50,000, apart from a $25,000 commitment from the nonprofit. "I get emotional thinking about it because one of the things that I love about the library is it supports lifelong learning," said Marisa Nygord, board president of the Friends of the Fargo Public Library. Library Director Tim Dirks said the facility has seen more than 3 million visitors since 2007.
