Telangana police on Wednesday announced that they have replaced the old 'Dial 100' with new emergency number 112 with which people can get police, ambulance and fire service. Earlier, people had to depend on the old 'Dial 100' for police help. Now with the new Emergency Response system, 112, people can get police, ambulance and fire service. DGP CV Anand advised the people to save the number in the mobiles to use it on emergency situations. He said that the latest system was developed to take as many as 960 calls at a time.
