A driver has been killed when they swerved onto the wrong side of the road as police vehicles approached from behind. The Hyundai driver died at the scene and is yet to be formally identified. A critical incident team from Cumberland Police Area Command is now investigating, assisted by the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit. Police say the investigation will be reviewed by Professional Standards Command and oversighted by the Law Enforcement Conduct Commission (LECC).
