Bermuda's participation in this important conference reflected our government's commitment to strengthening relationships with our Caribbean neighbours and reinforcing our ties with the Caricom community. The conference provided an opportunity to build meaningful partnerships, exchange ideas and participate in discussions on issues that affect all of our islands. It is rooted in family, shared history, migration, resilience and generations of cultural exchange. Representing Bermuda at the 51st Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community was an honour that I will always cherish. I returned home with a greater appreciation of Bermuda's role within the wider Caribbean community and a renewed commitment to fostering stronger regional partnerships.
