Detectives have launched an investigation after a stabbing in Sutton-in-Ashfield. Police were called to Outram Street shortly after 6pm yesterday (Tuesday 4 August) after a teenager was attacked inside a convenience store. “To this end we want to hear from anyone who saw or heard anything which could assist our inquiries. “People in the area will understandably be concerned, but we currently believe this to be an isolated incident with no wider risk to the public. “That said, officers will remain in the area today to provide reassurance.”
