Beeston Brownie has announced that its shop will close later this month after being affected by rising costs and a fall in sales. The business will close the shop for the final time on Saturday, August 15, but will continue trading through its online store, wholesale partnerships, corporate orders and events. Announcing the decision, the business said: “We’re sad to share that we’ll be closing our shop doors for the last time on 15th August 2026. We’ll be putting our energy into growing other parts of the business, including wholesale, online sales, corporate orders and events. The business also thanked shop staff Donna and Layney for their work and dedication during what it described as “some really tough times”.
