Confusion as transfer of ownership of Ipswich car parks delayed for weeks

The two car parks at Tacket Street and Tower Ramparts were slated to take over from National Car Parks (NCP) to Q-Park on Saturday, August 1 but NCP has since confirmed the delay with customers urged to follow the existing signage at the sites.

NCP had managed six car parks in town, located at Portman Road, Tower Ramparts, Cox Lane, Tacket Street, St Georges Street and the Ipswich Station site.
The car park at Portman Road was taken over by Ipswich Borough Council and returned to operation earlier this year.
