Foulkes, who was driving the vehicle at the time, reversed it, then drove forward and “forcefully” crashed into a police car.
The defendant then “rammed” into the police vehicle again, this time only missing his mother by less than one metre.
Ms Tariq said Foulkes’ dangerous driving was “prolonged, persistent and deliberate,” and committed “in the course of evading police”.
Mr Barnett said Foulkes accepts his dangerous driving was “impulsive” and “stupid”.
Sentencing, Judge Huw Rees told Foulkes he was responsible for “a very bad example of dangerous driving”.
