Thousands of people lost power after a tree fell down Tuesday night in Durham.
According to a Duke Energy outage map, more than 7,000 customers lost power in Durham.

Duke Energy told WRAL News that an outage in that area was "vegetation-related."
A strong line of storms moved through Durham County Tuesday night, prompting a flood advisory for part of the county until 11 p.m.A spokesperson for Duke Energy said the outage has been resolved.
