The leadership change comes as Ark Energy prepares to begin construction of its first build-to-own development, the Richmond Valley Solar Farm and Battery Energy Storage System in northern New South Wales. Former Chief Executive Officer, Michael Choi, will leave the position to prepare to become Chief Executive Officer of Sun Metals Corporation, another Korea Zinc subsidiary based in Townsville. Founded in 2021, Ark Energy develops and operates utility-scale renewable energy projects across Australia.
