If the forecast holds, it will mark yet another chapter in what has already been an extreme summer for Essex.
WXCharts currently shows highs of around 28C on Sunday, dipping briefly to 24C on Monday before climbing again.
Tuesday is forecast at around 28C, rising to 33C on Wednesday in parts of Essex, before easing back to about 25C on Thursday.
The Met Office’s long-term forecast suggests the high temperatures are likely to continue.
"Temperatures will probably be above average and some spells of hot weather and heatwaves are possible, especially in the south."
