A driver had to be cut free from wreckage after a serious accident on the A51 in Alpraham near Nantwich. The two-vehicle crash happened at around 5pm last night (August 4th) non Chester Road. Emergency services closed the busy road off in both directions while the rescue and clean-up operation took place. “One casualty was trapped but got out of the vehicle after crews cut away the door. “Traffic built up in both directions on the A51 and motorists were advised to avoid the area.”
