A man has been charged in connection with the death of a nine-year-old girl in Arbroath. Police said a 35-year-old white British man, who was known to the girl, had been arrested. He has now been charged and is scheduled to appear at Forfar Sheriff Court on Wednesday. Det Insp Mike Ness, of Police Scotland's major investigation team, said no-one else was being sought in connection with the incident. Det Insp Ness added: "Our thoughts remain with those affected by these events.
