This is The Hyde Group’s first scheme to receive Gateway 2 clearance, following a regulatory process described as enhanced for new builds. The project entails demolishing the existing structures at Eastmoor Street, SE7, to deliver new homes of varied types and tenures to address local housing needs. Hulme said: “As well as delivering much-needed affordable homes, Eastmoor Street has strategic significance. It’s our first residential development within the Charlton Riverside Opportunity Area, where we have consent to deliver about 1,200 homes.
