A Port Elizabeth woman has claimed in a video that has gone viral that Home Affairs approached her to pay a bribe in exchange for accelerated services. In a Facebook post, the woman shared that she visited the branch to apply for her children’s passports. She shared: “I climbed onto a chair in Home Affairs and rebelled against their corruption! I was approached with an offer to pay R150, and I will be helped in 10 minutes.
