Kirill Petrenko assistant lands a job Uncategorizednorman lebrecht August 05, 2026The Casa da Música Foundation in Porto has appointed Oscar Jockel as its conductor in residence. Jockel, 30, is former assistant conductor at the Berlin Philharmonic and, before that, winner of the Hebert von Karajan award in Salzburg. He will also be principal conductor of Porto’s Remix Ensemble.
