The Atlanta Falcons and running back Bijan Robinson have agreed to a 3-year contract extension worth up to $75 million, which comes after Robinson reported to training camp but did not participate in on-field drills while negotiations continued, bringing an end to his brief contract-related hold-in.
The contract includes $51 million in guaranteed money and a $37 million signing bonus, making Robinson the highest-paid running back in league history – surpassing previous benchmarks established by Saquon Barkley and Christian McCaffrey.
The extension continues the Falcons’ offseason commitment to keeping their young offensive core together.
Robinson joins wide receiver Drake London, tight end Kyle Pitts and offensive lineman Matthew Bergeron among Atlanta’s recent long-term signings as the organization builds around its homegrown talent.
With Tyler Allgeier no longer on the roster, Robinson is expected to headline a revamped backfield entering the 2026 season.
