A new era of Pella football felt very familiar for the Dutch in 2025, and leads them to No. 3 on the countdown of top stories from the previous academic year. The Dutch charged back to the UNI Dome and the Class 4A football finals for a second consecutive season, placing 2nd after falling in the state title game. Led by First Team All-State Football Player Emmanuel Diers on offense and his 1807 yards rushing, the 2025 season was highlighted by a suffocating defensive unit that ranked first in Class 4A in points allowed per game (10.4).
