The Delhi High Court has directed the removal of content and URLs posted against Physics Wallah founder Alakh Pandey that are infringing and unauthorisedly exploit his personality rights. Only the URLs have to be taken down" the Court clarified in its order. The ad-interim ex-parte order was passed in a suit filed by Pandey, represented by Senior Advocate J. Sai Deepak, seeking protection of his personality rights. Pursuant to the Court’s direction , Pandey placed on record a defendant-wise tabulated note identifying specific instances of alleged violations, categorising them into commercial monetisation, ex-facie sexually explicit content, and content impersonating him. The matter will be taken up next before the Joint Registrar on November 6 for the completion of pleadings.
