The 36-year-old faces charges of wounding with intent and robbery following an incident in Bishopton. The wounded 44-year-old man was taken to James Cook University Hospital with multiple facial and body injuries, though these are not considered life-threatening. The accused, who was charged by Stockton CID, has been remanded in custody and is due to appear in Teesside Magistrates' Court today (August 5).
