Damon Clark, 40, of Bell Street, Bishop Auckland, appeared at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates' Court on July 22. Clark admitted stealing charger cables of unknown value from a vehicle in Bishop Auckland on March 9. Clark pleaded guilty to the offences of theft from a motor vehicle, vehicle interference and criminal damage. He must also pay £250 in compensation for the damage caused to the police cell. No order for court costs was made.
