"This morning marked another big milestone... We were able to do the concrete work associated with the deck overlay on the north vaulted abutment," Public Works Director Heather Thomas said. That process is expected to take longer but will be the last "big item," according to Thomas. There were 120, and they've added just a couple in some change orders that came about on the project. We've got some direction on the railing to get that moving forward and not delay any openings on the bridge," she said.
