The S&P/ASX 200 Index gained 0.9%, or 82 points, to close at 9,227.80, reaching an all-time high. In company news, Light & Wonder (ASX:LNW) logged $1.99 in adjusted EPS for the second quarter, compared with $1.58 a year ago. For the three months ended June 30, revenue was $828 million versus $809 million previously. Endeavour Group (ASX:EDV) reported preliminary fiscal 2026 underlying profit after tax of AU$363 million, down from AU$426 million in the previous fiscal year.
