A court hearing involving Libyan boxer Mohamed Ali Ahmed Elmushraty, better known as Lilu King, was brought to a halt after prison authorities failed to bring him to court.
The court heard that the deputy registrar had contacted prison officials two days earlier to confirm the date and time of the sitting.
Magistrate Thake expressed frustration over the situation, noting that this was not the first time court proceedings had been disrupted because an accused person was not brought from prison.
Although he was previously granted bail in this case, he remains in custody over separate criminal proceedings.
Magistrate Anne Marie Thake is presiding over the case.
