Officials said residents can dial 1073 from anywhere in Kolkata to report traffic congestion, faulty traffic signals, illegal parking, road blockades, waterlogging, stranded vehicles causing disruptions, road accidents or any other traffic-related issue. 'Kolkata Traffic Police is always committed to ensuring safe, smooth and hassle-free travel for citizens,' a senior traffic department official, who did not wish to be named, said. Citizens have been urged to report traffic-related issues or accidents immediately by calling 1073.
